I resonate with so much of what you wrote here. I’m 34, and I’m a single man too. And you’re not gonna believe this, my reasons for it and timelines of personal development have been eerily similar to yours. Glad to know I have company, haha!

And trust me, that whole “just settling for someone” doesn’t work. I’ve unfortunately tried an “arranged relationship”, out of societal pressure, only to break up in 3 months due to lack of compatibility and emotional connection. It was the worst thing I’ve ever done in my life.

So it’s always better to wait and find the right woman. But we also gotta keep putting ourselves out there. It’s actually one of my goals this year.
